
PcMatix Terms of Service
(a) General Services: PcMatix will attempt to determine the problem you are having with your technology and will give you a free estimate of the work that will be required to correct it (plus any applicable taxes). Our technicians will then furnish you with a solution to the issue while you are on the phone with them. Please be advised that it is possible that the problem with your device or software may be related to issues which are out of the control of PcMatix technicians, and an alternative solution may be required.(b) Your Responsibility: Please ensure that any important data, software or computer files that may be located on device which is to be serviced are backed up in order to protect against their loss. You agree to indemnify PcMatix from the responsibility for any lost information or data that may occur as a result of any repairs which are made or solutions which are implemented.
SERVICE LIMITATIONS; LIABILITY
a) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: To the extent permitted by law, you agree that PCMatix will be limited in terms of total liability regarding damages which may result from the use of our services to the total amount which is paid for the remote services. PcMatix is released from responsibility for any damages which may be indirect, incidental, special, or consequential. PcMatix will not be held liable for any data loss, software corruption, business interruption or loss of use of computers or devices which have been serviced by our technicians.
SERVICE WARRANTY
a) If at any point you feel unsatisfied with the services which have been furnished by PcMatix we encourage you to call us at 1-877-876-2849 ( 1-877-UR-MATIX ) so that we can help you achieve a satisfactory resolution to the issue at hand. All of our remote services come with a 30 day warranty, dating back to the day upon which you received the service. For repairs involving spyware or computer viruses, this warranty can only be considered valid if the computer’s spyware and virus protection software is installed and kept up to date at or around the time of the service call, prior to re-connection to the internet. Rest assured that PcMatix will work with you during the warranty period in order to solve any problems stemming from the work done during the service call, at no cost to you.
In-home computer service
SCHEDULINGOur regular service hours are 24 hours a day, Monday – Sunday. If you require a rapid response, additional charges may apply.
INSTALLATION AUTHORIZATION
In order for our on-site technicians to assist you, they require the presence of an 18-year old adult during the entire repair process.
RESPONSIBILITY
PcMatix reminds you that you are responsible for backing up any and all software or data on the machine or device which is being serviced prior to having any repair work done by our technicians. PcMatix will not be held responsible for any data loss or alteration incurred as a result of repairs or services provided by our technicians.
CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
To change your order: You must contact PcMatix at 1-877-876-2849 ( 1-877-UR-MATIX ).
To cancel your order: You must contact PcMatix at 1-877-876-2849 ( 1-877-UR-MATIX ) 2 hours before our technicians are scheduled to visit your location. Any payment amount will be refunded in full via the method of payment which was used.
If you are not satisfied with your service: Call 1-877-876-2849 ( 1-877-UR-MATIX ) and we will do our best to resolve the situation to your satisfaction. All of our in-home service calls are backed by a 30 day guarantee. At any point during this time period, please call us and we will quickly move to fix whatever issues may be troubling you as a result of our service call – at no charge to you.
